Electromagnetic Characteristics Analysis and Structure Optimization of High-Speed Fuel Solenoid Valves

High-speed fuel solenoid valves (HFSVs) are the key control elements of aero-engine vane regulators. A strong electromagnetic force generated from HFSVs is essential to achieve precise over timing and quantification for supply. In this paper, Taguchi method adopted improve HFSV’s static characteristics. First, an model HFSV was established experiments were conducted modify validate model. Effects structural factors on characteristics then investigated via finite element (FEM). Based optimization, prototype finally manufactured tested. The experiment results in good agreement with those simulations. It provides a significant guideline manufacturing process such HFSVs.
